Serenity Care Shower Gel 2-in-1 is the Cleanse step in shower and bathing settings within the Ontex-recommended three-step continence skin care protocol:

1. Cleanse — Serenity Care Shower Gel 2-in-1 (shower/bath) or Serenity Care Cleansing Milk (no-rinse/bedside)
2. Moisturise — Serenity Care Moisturising Cream; restores and maintains skin hydration
3. Protect — Serenity Care Barrier Cream; forms a zinc oxide protective barrier against moisture and irritants

Ontex Healthcare recommends keeping skin pH in its natural range between 4–7 using purposefully designed incontinence skincare products. A purpose-formulated emollient shower gel — rather than standard soap or body wash — supports this pH balance and reduces the risk of incontinence-associated dermatitis (IAD) and moisture-associated skin damage (MASD).

Serenity Care Shower Gel 2-in-1 is an effective cleanser for those who regularly use absorbent products that can cause dry or damaged skin, such as incontinence pads or pants.

• Have access to shower or bath facilities and require a skin-appropriate body and hair cleanser as part of their personal care routine
• Have sensitive, fragile or aged skin that is prone to dryness or irritation from standard soaps or body washes
• Are supported by a carer or support worker during showering or bathing and benefit from a single combined body and hair product that reduces the number of products and steps required
• Require a hypoallergenic, dermatologically tested product as part of a continence-related skin care protocol recommended by a continence nurse or occupational therapist

Application Instructions

Pour a small amount of cleansing gel into your hands and work into a lather, then apply to wet skin and hair. Rinse thoroughly.
