NOVASOURCE® Renal Vanilla is a nutritionally complete, high-protein Food for Special Medical Purposes specifically formulated for the dietary management of people with renal disease whose nutritional intake may not be adequate, as well as those requiring electrolyte restrictions.
Providing 2.0 kcal/mL, NOVASOURCE Renal is calorically dense for volume-restricted diets and is lower in potassium compared with RESOURCE® 2.0. It is suitable for both oral consumption and tube feeding and can be used as a sole source of nutrition.
Each 200mL bottle provides 402 kcal (1680kJ) and 18.2g of protein, providing concentrated energy and protein in a relatively small volume.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
ORAL USE: Chill before serving. NOVASOURCE® Renal can be consumed directly from the reclosable bottle or poured into a cup. Once opened, reclose, refrigerate and consume within 24 hours. If poured out of the bottle, cover tightly and use within 6 hours.
TUBE FEEDING: Pour directly into tube feeding container. Adjust formula flow rate and volume to patient's condition and tolerance. Provide additional water to meet fluid requirements. Avoid contamination during preparation and use. Do not add food or drugs, if product is tube-fed.
RECOMMENDED DAILY INTAKE: Up to five bottles a day depending on patient's fluid and protein requirement or restrictions, or as recommended by a healthcare professional.
STORAGE: Unopened, store in a cool and dry place.
